SMS Consent & Opt-In

Tacktiq by Gybe Digital LLC · Last updated: June 15, 2026

📱 How users opt in

Tacktiq sends SMS messages for one purpose only: a one-time passcode (OTP) to verify a user's phone number during account sign-up.

The user opts in directly in the app: during sign-up they enter their own mobile number on the verification screen and tap Continue. The screen displays the consent disclosure shown below before the number is submitted. Only then do we send the verification code by SMS.

The exact text presented to the user above the Continue button:

"By entering your number and tapping Continue, you agree to receive a one-time verification code by SMS. Used only to verify your number — no marketing. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

💬 Sample message

"Your Tacktiq verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
